IDC Schedules

As a PADI IDC Staff Instructor you can:

  • Teach PADI Assistant Instructor Courses

  • Assist PADI Course Directors in conducting the PADI Instructor Development Course

  • Assist PADI Course Directors in conducting instructor-level continuing education

Required Materials and Equipment

You will need to equip yourself with all the basic scuba gear expected of a PADI Instructor and some accessories such as a surface signalling devices, dive knife, compass, dive watch, etc.

In order to evaluate candidate presentations you will need the PADI Course Director Manual (Digital) as well as the Confined and Open Water Presentation Evaluation Slate.

  • You must be a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer
  • At least 18 years old
  • Be renewed and in Teaching status as a PADI Instructor for the current year
